Standing Committees
CAALL has established a number of standing committees, to fulfil the objectives of the Association. The committees report to the Executive and make presentations on projects to the Spring and Annual Meetings as requested. It is at the committee level that a good deal of shared activity is carried out on an ongoing basis by federal, provincial and territorial government officials involved in the labour field. Each jurisdiction is invited to place at least one senior representative on each standing committee. All committees prepare annual workplans that are approved at the Annual Meeting of CAALL and they have a member of the Executive who is assigned to liaise with them.
CAALL also establishes ad hoc committees and working groups on an as needed basis.
